​WOWSA!! What a busy month May was. Let me start with an update on Bella, who for new readers is my long-term foster who is anywhere from 12 yrs of age to 15. I just cannot get correct background information on her other than she was abused, given away, spent 2 years with nice folks in a small apartment then given away again to me 😊. Her dental work went very well. She had four teeth extracted and while they were working on them another one fell out. So, five teeth all together. Her mouth has healed well. I took her for a check up on them and except for one that is taking longer they all have healed. Her breathe no longer smells 😊 How people cannot see, or in this case smell that something is wrong is beyond my comprehension. But she will be in my home all spoiled and loved till her end time.
Sadly, I am not getting my patio set. Why? Ordered and due to arrive mid May. I call my salesperson mid May expecting him to say, ‘oh it is coming’ but sadly he said, “I cannot understand this, now the website says delivery is mid JULY”!!!! So, I cancelled it and set my patio up with singular chairs from my outdoor dining set along with the carpet, plants, fountain etc. It looks and feels fine. Kind of glad right now as I am possible going to move next year but I will decide as time goes on. A lot depends on Bella. She LOVES the yard and cat catio and fresh air 😊
My son turned 55 on May 1st so I took him out to eat. He chose Japanese Village at the West Edmonton Mall. [not my favorite place at all] I also invited my grandson Liam and his girlfriend Grace so the four of us had a nice time and Emmett, my son, enjoyed his favorite [or one of them] restaurant. Then I shopped a little with Grace and Liam afterwards and headed home 😊 I gifted him with hockey trading cards as he collects them 😊
Work wise? Literally, unless I took a day off, I was booked every day for large packages, on line Numerology charts [ my fave] a spell and ritual order, other website store orders and a ton of Zoom calls 😊 Thank You Universe, and also thank you to myself for focusing correctly in all of my Numerology seasons that I speak of often 😊
Got my oil changed, the irrigation system opened for my garden and ALMOST bought a new lawn mower. Why? Mine is old and although it is a Toro brand it is showing its age. I could not get it started. The wiring on the electric start had broken years ago so I have to manually start it with a pull cord. I called up a lawn mower place and was going to purchase an electric one after the weekend. I had called on a Thursday and luckily, I had clients for the next 3 days so Monday it was going to be. BUT!! Every time I went out to my shed, I pulled on the cord. Late Sunday LOL it fired up!!! Boy was I happy. I do not want to add to debt right now.
Lawn got mowed, and every day I worked for an hour seeding veggies. I did not have any luck with corn last year, nor have I ever had luck with Brussel sprouts so this year I decided to try watermelon 😊 So weeded, planted and now I will wait to see what grows. I planted baby carrots, sweet peas, cucumbers, tons of kale and along with trying out watermelon I also am trying lima beans 😊 A lot of work as I left a lot of work to be done from the Fall time. Apple tree is blooming away with flowers, and the bees are pollinating every day so it looks like I will have another massive harvest of apples.
Then Mothers Day came and instead of the Sunday my son asked if we could go out on the Monday as he had a job to complete on the weekend of Mothers Day. So off we went to Mikado’s. I chose this place as it had vegan food. It was nice but I may try to give Watari’s another chance next month. After years of going there I did not enjoy it last time, but my son said maybe it was a one off with a new cook. So next month my monthly dinner with my son will be there😊. Gifts? Of course!! I received flowers, more gift certificates for Canadian tire and the regular box of vegan cup cakes he always brings 😊
Then on May 12th I had invited a friend of mine to join me at the Mayfield Dinner Theatre and used the gift certificate that I had received from my son on my birthday in April. GREAT vegan food along with their buffet selections for carnivores. I chose Footloose, a musical. The dancing was superb. My friend paid our drinks and also the tip. So nice when you have friends who think like yourself. If I was invited, I too would pick up the tip and drinks 😊
And naturally with all my other gift certificates I had I bought the seeds to plant, soil to refresh the beds and also some outdoor light bulbs plus hooks to be able to place my outdoor extension cord around the patio ceiling to be able to plug in the fountain next to my chairs 😊
Another buddy of mine came over for tea. She is the friend who runs a foster and who I have Bella from. Sat on my patio and caught up on the news etc. etc.
I took today off [27th] as my grandson and his girlfriend are coming for a patio dinner tonight 😊 The last 4 days of May I am solidly booked plus the beginning of June 😊 I know I say this often, but proof is in the pudding so to speak. IF you place value on certain times to activate and put out the energy you are rewarded. I talk a lot about seasons that are indicated in the secret hidden coded map from your birthdate in Numerology. Activate the actions of life under the CORRECT times and you will be GREATLY rewarded when your Harvest year arrives. What you place your energy towards works; trust me it elevates to great heights 😊 Hence my VERY BUSY work months since the beginning of the year. The last seven years I placed great faith in my beliefs and activated life’s energies in the correct seasons. I am in my Harvest year now till December and trust me I am receiving all that I focused upon.
GROCERIES: Now I may be the only person who did not know this. In Edmonton we have a large grocery store called Save On Foods. They price match!!! I was choosing my green apples and one of the employees who was placing fruits said to me; “do you have a phone”? I replied, “oh yes, it is in my purse” he said, “Pull up H and W and look at the daily price specials, show it at the cash and you will save”. He then said the green apples were one of the daily specials. So, I did 😊 EASY PEESY!! No signing up or anything. Not only were the green apples on sale [ I saved $11] the English cucumbers that were $2.99 were on the H and W daily special for .88cents!! I saved over $8 there 😊 Now onto my food buys. Peanut butter, apricot jam, agave syrup, Himalayan Sea salt, bananas, nutritional yeast, Breton crackers, crushed garlic, vegan mayonnaise, vegan cream, blue bags for recycling, avocados, pickled beets, Brussel sprouts, cauliflower, eco max laundry detergent, tomatoes, frozen peas, sorbets, romaine lettuce, tofu, turnips, cranberries, brown sugar, raw sugar, vegan ice cream, mandarins, vegan butter, tortillas, celery, green apples, cherries, lemons, yeast for bread, dried chick peas, oyster mushrooms, red onion, rutabaga, vegan yogurt and rice crispies. Total= $443.13.
BELLA: Yes, I am paying her food and kitty litter as I do not want to feed her lousy food, and I also like kitty litter that does not track little bits of sand. Thus, it appears I have to pay this myself. So along with the 28L of kitty litter I also invested in 11 bags of treats that she LOVES, and I also ran out of dry food, so I bought the large 5K N and D digestion bag. Cost this month=$209.23. This should last all of June 😊 [the rescue did pay her vet bills 😊]
NETFLIX: And I finished up Person of Interest. If you have not watched this do so!! I actually made an error last month when I said it was created in 2017. It was way before that. Dig this. Its series premiere was in 2011, and the final episode wrapped up in 2016. Now how the heck did this show know how much of ‘NOW’ would be created!! Excellent acting and all around a GREAT series.
Then I watched The Last of Us that I gave a 7/10 as it was hard to enjoy based on all the controversy around it with the court cases!!
Next, I watched Worst Ex Ever and gave it 5/10 and only watched two episodes.
Why I bothered watching Billionaire Bunker I do not know. I gave it 3/10 and really thought it would be a heck of a lot better as the same people created Money Heist and that was an AWESOME show.
Bought some more Lee Child books in the Reacher editions and while I am not busy in the garden, office or out doing shopping etc. I sit on my patio in the awesome weather and read while enjoying my herbal tea I created from liquorice root, bilberry and eyebright. 😊 I have drank this for years and attribute it to the reason that I still do not need glasses to drive, nor have them prescribed for anything other than computer work 😊
Other than a baby squirrel entering my home and being chased under the fridge, then under the stove then under the couch and finally down to the basement where he went under my treadmill this was all of the month’s actions 😊. Yes, after a full two days I finally was able to cover the squirrel with a blanket and safely remove him. And on the positive side the back of my stove, fridge and under the treadmill is sparkling clean as I dragged then all out to try to catch the little bugger!! All is well that ends well. And he is back with his brother playing around the house on the fence 😊
As I wrap up this month’s Chat I once again say to folks “meditate daily, recognize what the Universe is sending and follow the actions” You will not regret any changes that you make if you are not happy with life. Leave fear in the dust 😊

WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU MID-APRIL WITH THE STELLIUM?
I want to talk about the movement of the planets. I find a lot of people either do not believe in astrology OR do not pay attention to it. I am also amazed at how much it details movements that Numerology coincides with.

Think about the Sun and Moon. 99% of folks will agree without the sun and moon life could not exist on this planet. Our food needs the warmth of the sun and much more. The moon really balances the tides etc. Many will agree the crazies come out on a full moon.
So why would anyone not believe that where the sun and moon were when you were born at that precise moment have a lot to do with your feelings and energy? Sun= energy and Moon= emotions. PLUS, all the other planets create a ton of movement upon this planet.
APRIL 2026: I wrote about this briefly on Facebook. We had a VERY RARE stellium with Sun, Moon, New Moon, Mercury, Saturn, Neptune, Chiron and Mars all sitting within a few degrees of each other in the sign of Aries. If you look at your natal chart mid -April [15th to 17th] you can see what I mean. Where the transits sit you will see this row of planets all formed together. Now think back to April. What was strongly being thought or programmed into your mind? Because this was a MASSIVE jolt of energy being shot down into your psyche.
You need to look at the house this stellium was sitting upon. Mine? It hit my first house that actually is Aries LOL. So, I had a MASSIVE thought process going on. So much moves though my life and at this time I am looking at “should I move to Thailand”? OR “should I downsize so my mortgage is gone”?

In Numerology I am in my Harvest Year. [Year 8] I am receiving all that I put energy into in the last seven years. Thinking back, I would have to say mainly it was my business where the bulk of my energy created aspects of change etc. So?? Yup I am receiving MASSIVE amounts of work. No, I am not complaining but as much as I enjoy my profession truly, I am getting tired of HAVING to do it just to keep the lifestyle I chose to create. Bills keeps climbing and a large house takes a lot of upkeep. Thus, my push with the stellium that got me thinking “what do I want to do” And so it goes.

Now my plan has been made for short term. My mortgage is up this December and there is not a hope in heck I will get the same 2.6%. Therefore, the monthly payments will increase a lot. So here I have decided to take a variable till the end of 2027. Why? 2027 is my ‘wrap it up season’ in Numerology. Get rid of what you do not want, do not need etc. etc. Long term I plan to put the house on the market in October 2027 and take 3 months in Thailand January/Feb/ and March 2028. Thus, allowing myself the choice of staying in Canada and buying a small condo with no mortgage [or very little] OR buying a condo in Thailand and living out my golden years there.
BUT!! All of this really came about in serous feelings during the stellium. So, my question to you all is this. “What did you find yourself feeling/doing/activating/planning during the month of April especially mid April?

Now the Sun has moved into Gemini. The Moon moves very quickly but you can follow it from my astrology column. Mercury is no longer in Aries. Saturn still is and will stay this way till July 26, 2026, when he goes retrograde. Neptune still sits in Aries till July 6, 2026, and then he too goes retrograde. Mars also has moved away from Aries.

Chiron remains in Aries and this is important. Chiron is your wounded healer. What house is it transiting now? On June 19, 2026, it will move into Taurus BUT on August 3, 2026, it too will go retrograde. Goes back into Aries till January 6, 2027, and then goes direct through Aries till April 14, 2027, when it moves permanently into Taurus. Look to the house again and know your wounds are being given the opportunity to be healed.

Again, I stress that whatever house this stellium passed through as transits in your natal chart would have set off a fire in your mind LOL. So think back to mid April and then say “yup, I now know that planets have a lot of energy in my life” They are the clues to life BUT you also will not get another stellium in Aries for many many years to come as planets all move at different speeds and that was a wonderful line up as they all caught up with each other.

The intenseness many are feeling is NOT us moving into a 3rd realm or any other actions that their beliefs tell them to share. No, it is planetary movements that as energy moves from each planet through each of the twelve houses you react spiritually, emotionally and physically. Some of this will feel strange and some comforting. Strange?? Look for the adventure. Comforting? Look to see if you are staying stuck.

I do not know the original question in its entirety, but it is fairly obvious the question was why do humans still terrify and kill souls who feel pain just as we do? I cannot comprehend it. Maybe that is why so many have to repeat this life? Until they do not believe in murder of any kind? As I always say, it will all make perfect sense at the end. BUT!!! I am not taking any chances. I hope to be an animal keeper after this material life OR on a planet that understands life can be lived without war/murder and violence :)
ARTICLE: When someone made a comment on a Facebook page, as a way for them to justify eating animals, that growing plants/eating plants/crop planting and processing also causes deaths in the fields….

As for your final point: All life involves trade-offs - true. But that doesn’t mean all choices are equal. Crop deaths are incidental, not deliberate acts of exploitation. Using the unintended consequences of crop farming to justify deliberately breeding, commodifying & killing sentient beings is ethically incoherent. It's like excusing murder because car accidents also kill people.

We are not asking people to be perfect. We’re asking them to stop funding industries built on exploitation & use - breeding sentient individuals into existence for the sole purpose of using & killing them. That’s not part of a wild food web - it’s a system of domination we’ve normalized.

If you were the one inside the slaughterhouse, I doubt you’d be comforted by the appeal to “ecological balance” or “cultural norms.” So let’s stop pretending this is about nature. It’s about power, choice, & morality. And it’s time we chose better."
VcToria's Vegan Kitchen
So easy to be healthy and NOT overweight.
Another healthy simple to make meal.

I have a rice cooker and use it with 1 cup of rice and 2 ¼ cups of water. Then I add two tablespoons of curry powder. A chopped up white onion and about 1-2 teaspoons of salt. STIR. Place the lid on the cooker and let it cook.
​
Once done it will serve four people so for me that is four days of a meal. I always have on hand frozen corn and frozen peas. Take the cooked rice and a SMALL amount of vegetable or olive oil and heat up a pan. Add one cup of rice and any amount of corn and peas. Heat it up. Then take fresh tomatoes [I like the sweeter baby tomatoes] and pickled beets. Serve and be full and healthy 😊
