​Quick Note: I had notification from Constant Contact that 184 emails on my lists out of 1000's were NOT getting my emails. They went all the way back to 2015 to now. I moved you all to lists that mail out properly :) So if you are suddenly getting them again know this is why!!

June was an interesting month all around. First, I gave up my show that I had been doing for years based on the greed that so many shows are now showing. IE: Cost of booths going up, shortening the hours and so much more. But this show that was in Camrose took the medal for this. Doubled the cost PLUS more for the space they supply on the sidewalk LOL. No power, no tent etc. etc. just a space!!! And they doubled the cost PLUS refused to allow the Chamber of Commerce membership to be bought at just a registered price as I am incorporated!! No thoughts on the fact I had supported their event for years!! Anyway, onto June and it slowed in comparison to my other months.

I am not one to waste time so in-between the days off of which out of 30 days I was only booked on 11 days!! I took care of other things.

​

Let us start with what I watched on Netflix because I watched a lot of TV this month LOL. Why? We had a crazy weather-related month. I had days of air conditioning needed to be turned on, I had days of the fireplace needing to heat the room and days where neither was needed. We had massive amounts of rain, some sunny days and some overcast. Thus, TV was my main entertainment.

NETFLIX:  Ladies First gave it 7/10. Very predicable movie. Four Seasons with Tina Fey I gave 7/10. It was light and enjoyable. Then I started A Good girls Guide to Murder and stopped watching it. Waste of time and I gave it a 2/10. Under a five consider it not worth watching. Then I watched Office Romance and gave it a 7/10. Another chick flick 😊 Next came Nemesis and that was give a 7/10. Now so many people talked about The Crash including my g’kids so I watched it. I gave it a 5/10. Was she guilty? Why did they not give a lie detector test? [a polygraph test] Her lawyer was one of the worst I have ever heard or seen and is it possible she dropped her phone and was leaning down to pick it up and her foot pushed the gas?? Were the two guys asleep? A lot of doubt there so I am quite shocked she was found guilty. But other than that, I found it quite boring and only watched it because so many people talked about it. Watched The Boroughs and got through all 8 episodes and made a note ‘not my style of TV liking’ Gave it a 5/10. And finally, another Berlin series came out 😊 Berlin and the Jewels of Paris. Given a 10/10 however if you have not watched any Berlin series start with Money Heist. That way you can follow the characters. Then I watched Voicemails for Isabele another chick flick and gave it a 6/10. Lastly Legend. Supposed to be a true story. I gave a 6/10 because the accents are really hard to understand at times. Takes place in England!! Heavy cockney accents at times.

Moving on as I stated I do not waste time 😊 Owning a house takes a lot of work plus repairs that I always say you need to keep up with. Anything material will always need some kind of help at some points in time LOL. And it started with Telus. TV all of a sudden tells me that there is an issue. LONG story but I call Telus and get, YUP the AI system. I figure Ok I’ll tackle this with AI. Read out the issue on the screen and she says ‘it is an HDMI cord issue. Change the wire'. I do. Still does not work. Finally, AI gives up and gets me to a live person who gives me 3 free movies playing On Demand for the non solving AI.  Then says I have the wrong boxes, and they will send a tech. Next day tech arrives and says “no, the boxes are correct, but my main modem is only giving me 1 gigabyte?? [possible gigabytes] but I am paying for 1.5 do I want a new modem to match the speed? “YES!!!! Of course I do”. New modem is installed BUT now I had to reset all my passwords. Computer, phone, security system, [that involved a very high climb as I have a camera above my garage] and also had to reset my air-conditioning set up!! That is why I keep up with tech.

​

OH!!! Just to tell you what the issue was I had changed the HDMI cord to number 2 on the back once talking to Telus and lo and behold it worked. So, AI was correct just not enough to say change the location 😊 AND!! The HDMI cord then worked in the number one space ironically the next day when tech guy arrived!! I just have ghosts here.

​

And, as we all know those who have garages just throw stuff into it when we no longer want it!! So off I went to the eco center after taking all that is no longer needed to be laying around my garage in a useless manner 😊 Then I swept the floor. Lastly on the repair areas my irrigation system needed some new heads on the water area. The guys came and if the rain ever stops LOL, I can now use the entire system properly as the area where I planted carrots needed the system to work properly.

​

The rest of the time I spent taking care of Bella who I thoroughly enjoy hanging out with 😊 then weeding the garden although I have to say with all the rain, I am not getting a massive amount of growth on anything I planted last month. Even my flowers [lilies] are still not blooming. The vegetables are only coming up as a few and even they are not more than an inch above ground. BUT!!! Who knows maybe the Universe is getting rid of all the rain so my outdoor shows will be had in awesome sunny weather LOL. Sat on my back patio and read my books, did laundry, dishes in the dishwasher, vacuumed and truly just enjoyed the laziness as I do not get enough time to just be lazy [ my lazy LOL]

​

I walked outside when the weather was good and in general enjoyed what I consider a fairly lazy month 😊 Social life was OK 😊 My granddaughter Kirsten came into town for the weekend. Since I had not seen her since Thailand, she took me for my birthday dinner along with my grandson, his girlfriend, her mother in-law who travelled with her from Vancouver plus one of her friends who also came up and to my great delight a granddaughter who I rarely see joined us. I had chosen Asian Village as I knew they served vegan food but in all honestly their food had changed a lot and I was disappointed by the lack of variety. I find a ton of restaurants are changing how they cook, serve and offer items.

​

Then Liam, my grandson, had a birthday arrive on the 11th and he had asked for Euros 😊 Yes, his girlfriends family is taking them all to Europe, the lucky guy 😊 He chose Wataris as he had been there before, so myself, his girlfriend and of course him, headed there that evening. And just like I mentioned in April he too said the food had changed. Not for the better sadly.  I may as well add that Liam and I also had our ‘just us’ monthly dinner on the 22nd at Earls 😊

​

I had been looking forward to a lunch plan with a vendor friend but sadly she cancelled the day before. I always find that interesting when people cancel because honestly, I just schedule out the time and make sure I do not disappoint someone who obviously would have been clearing out that time as well.  [or should have been!!]  

​

And lastly supper with my son on our monthly dinner. Tried Joeys at Mayfield Common but sadly very little vegan food so next time I will choose another restaurant. 😊

​

​AND!! My grandson Liam and his girlfriend got engaged on June 14th 😊 So a second wedding perhaps but no plans have been announced there yet. The only wedding this year is my granddaughters. In BC as I have stated many times. 😊 Labor Day weekend.

​

And naturally I shopped for groceries but only once. I also ordered from ‘vegan supply’ out of BC as they had their specials on. From them I ordered the poached eggs, fried eggs [ yes, they are super yummy], a box of ‘chicken breasts [12] 2 fillet ‘steaks, an extremely yummy cashew cheese, vegan jerky  and a chocolate bar Cost :$126.10   From my grocery store I bought ground Beyond meat as I intend to make a spaghetti sauce, pickled beets, plums, Brussel sprouts, cabbage, carrots, tortillas, celery, cauliflower, chickpeas [dried] cucumbers, green apples, frozen peas, Heinz beans, just egg, mangos, nectarines, popcorn, but it does not pop correctly LOL most likely as my popcorn popper broke and I am using a fry pan, vegan yogurt, frozen raspberries, unbleached flour, vegan ice cream plus a sorbet, silk creamer, vegan bacon, turnips, apricot jam, avocadoes and a candy treat. Cost $218.10. So, my monthly bill was $344.20, so not too bad 😊

BELLA: Absolutely $0 as I had purchased a large dry food bag of food and a large bag of kitty litter plus tons of treats last month 😊

​

And as my lazy month draws to a close my busy season arrives. So, I will close off my Chat with try the experiment in the Spiritual column below, you may find you get a lot of growth from it. Use the days wisely and lastly just enjoy life. Take it easy and drop the emotion ‘worry’.

LET US TEST OUR EMOTIONS

I think I will continue with a wee bit more of understanding the reasons of life based upon our planetary movements 😊

Why do you think your moods change so rapidly? Think about it? Things bother people a LOT!!!! But some days these same things do not bother them to the height of other days. Being bothered relates to the emotions and ALL emotions are energy. How we create our energy creates how we react emotionally. Simple and easy to understand.

BUT!!! Where does this energy derive from? Answer: The Moon.

So first we look at our birth charts and see what house/sign your natal Moon sits within. That will create an understanding of your overall emotions. But as I said, all emotions are energy and energy can never be destroyed, only reshaped and reprogrammed 😊 That is the main thesis of where we can, if we choose, change our outlook and to do that we must change our emotions. Thus, shifting energy 😊

Now, the Moon moves through each of the twelve sun signs every 2-3 days However, in-between the signs we have what is called a void of course. The Moon sits in a void area. It has no other energies to interfere with the emotional powers we hold within us. Thus, now you can truly see, feel, and decide to shift your true self if you are not happy with the TRUE emotions.

It is a neat experiment. I do it all the time. Some days as I am feeling so content I smile and think ‘I bet I am under a void of course’ and 90% of the time I am. Or the moon is passing through a sign that has shaped my life and is just reminding me of what I have built.

As always, I try to make my newsletter interesting and helpful to those who choose to read it. The void of course Moon times are always under the Astrology column. You may print it out and place it where you work. I always have mine above my lap top and check it every day. [except when I am out of town 😊]

This month take the time to print it out. Look at it every day and night and make note of the void of course times. Even program your cell phone to alert you during the void times. Now pay attention to how you feel. If you are at work what bugs you? If you are driving what bugs you? At home how are you feeling? This is a very wise way of looking at life and seeing a] do I need to make MAJOR changes in it to shift my TRUE feelings? b] do I need to just relax more? c] is it other people’s emotions that bug me? If so, let me change my own as we cannot change people. They have to create their own contentment.



AND!! That is it folks. Simple and easy to do. Recognize the lessons and shift the outcome.

I find many people hang onto friends that they have outgrown. Why? Ask yourself that. I walk away from people who stay stuck. I cannot listen to people who complain about their lives and yet will do nothing to shift it. That is my choice, but I tell ya, LOL it creates contentment when you no longer are emotionally activated.

Try this July to experiment and enjoy the results.
