DAY TWO IN BANGKOK, THAILAND. YES!! we did a lot that for sure. We started out with the intention of walking from the hotel to the docks to take the river boat to the Temples. It was a LONG walk, and we landed up taking a Tuk Tuk the last mile or so. [see pic]

We saw the Temples, Prasat Phra Temple and Wat Arun Ratchun.

We stopped for lunch. Kirsten and Igor ate from a vendor outside and I chose to go into the Veganarie for a most DELICIOUS lunch. [see pics]

We had bought an all-day pass for the river boats and that was one of the smartest things to do I must say.

Us in the Tuk Tuks :)

The start of the Temples at 9 am on Day 2 :) Click on the video.
Temple of the Emerald Buddha??? BUT!! I do think it was Prasat Phra Temple based upon my video that says it is. Click on the video.
Gilded Chedis :) As we make our way around the awesome Temples. Click on the video.
OH, the blue sky and the temps were AWESOME. Click on the video.

These are pics of the Temples and then we stopped for lunch. All of this is right on the river. You hop off the boat at certain stops that you plan from the map :)

And vegan is exquisitely delicious. Try it for health. And no animals were tortured for my lunch.

AFTER LUNCH: Back to the temples. The second pic is Kirsten and myself, lining up for a Buddhist blessing. We received matching bracelets that I will show in pics further down. Yes, we placed a donation in the basket as indicated to do so by the Monk :)

LOVELY chanting as we entered into this beauty of a Temple. Click on video and relax with your eyes closed.

I believe this is the last of the temple pics in Bangkok. We headed back to the hotel to rest up a wee bit then we left for Chinatown.

Back at the hotel where we rested Kirsten and I showed our matching bracelets that we received from the monk who blessed us :) You can see the pool in the background but a video of it will be shown on day 3 :)

And here we are YES!!!! in Chinatown. Yes, I knew I would be getting a GREAT sleep later on, because now it is 6pm and we have been on the go for 12 hours so far and not stopping. Click on the video.
OK here is Kirsten and Igor in the fish tank that give you a foot cleansing. Click on the video LOL. Kirsten had to be convinced to try it :) I did not. My intentions were to come back here but I left Thailand earlier than I thought. Keep reading for the full story.

AND that completed Day Two. In Chinatown I did eat a mango sticky rice, my first LOL, so I did not notice you had to cover it with the coconut liquid. I also had taken a foot massage while we were outside the Temples and gave that a 10/10.

I also bought a great hand made purse that I will be using here to carry stuff for my shows.

By 10 pm I was sound asleep at one of the most comfortable beds and quietest hotels I stayed in while in Thailand. That wraps up DAY TWO:
