Checking out by 11 am from Prince Hotel in Bangkok. Here is the pool area. I waited here till Kirsten and Igor joined me as I had slept while they decided to go out on the last night :) Here is where we split ways. They were flying to Phuket, and I was flying to Chiang Mai. Click on the video.

And over Thailand we flew. All on time and I landed safely in Chiang Mai and took a taxi to my hotel.

Probably one of the nicest hotels I stayed at. It was also vegan so everything I ate there I did not have to ask questions about :) Breakfast in Thailand is weird!! Their lunch and supper are breakfast. This I did not know and was expecting vegan eggs, vegan meats etc. but no we were offered a huge buffet of rice, soups, spicy foods etc. There was toast, cereal, and best of all a fresh vegetable juicer with an array of veggies to juice. That is always my go to, to keep my digestion system running correctly :)
After settling into the hotel, I headed out to explore. I truly think that most of the world who travel head to Thailand!! Yes, the weather is AMAZING. 25C most of the time here in Northern Thailand. The traffic is still crazy here but not like Bangkok!! Enjoy the pigeons at the famous 13th century build of the Tha Phae Gate in old town where I am within walking distance :) Click on the video.

I walked around till night started to fall and took this pic of the somewhat main street off the Tha Phae Gate. Then I stopped in for a foot massage at one of the VERY many massage places. It did get dark and I just walked around until I went back to the hotel watched the English news channel and went to sleep. :)
