While I had been planning my trip to Thailand, I had created a group on FB 'over 50 years traveling' and a woman named Cliona contacted me. She would be in Chiang Mai during the dates I was, so we agreed to meet up. She suggested this AMAZING tea house on the street I posted yesterday :) And here it is along with her.
Our orders. I highly recommend this Tea House if you are in Chiang Mai Thailand. NAME: Raming Tea House.

Since Cliona had to be back at her rented home for 2pm as she was working remotely, we parted ways with plans to meet the next day. I headed back to my hotel for an AMAZING vegan lunch.

After my wonderful lunch I took myself out for a walk through the old gate and down the VERY touristy packed road. I found a Buddhist Temple that offered Thai massages etc. at half the price of anyone else. Granted it was in a large room, but most Thai massages are done fully clothed and next to each other. 100Baht=$4 Can. roughly. So, one hour here was 190 Baht = just under $8 for the hour. :) I took two treatments :) A foot massage and a Thai massage.

Back to the hotel for a rest and then out again at 6pm. While walking I found, right around the corner from my hotel, a psychic LOL. I was planning to go, but I never did. I wish I had :)

I was heading to the large night market I had heard so much about. I walked and walked and walked!! Then I found myself in the red-light district. Had I walked one more long block, I would have come across the market, but I turned around too soon. Headed back to my hotel and rested for the night.
