And our day started with eating on the boardwalk a lovely breakfast. I was able to get a vegan one :) Then we headed down to the beach area and hit the Monkey Trail. We had to take that to be able to get a boat to Railay beach. Railay Beach is NOT accesible by any form of road or plane. Only a boat. Here are the start of the monekeys :)

Finished walking the Monkey Trail and are now waiting on the beach for our boat. Beautiful views.

Made it up the metal stairs and into the boat :) Commentary is always on the video so keep your sound on :)

Still on the boat. I accidently shut off the last video. I upgraded to IOS 26 just before I left and the video/camera area changed a LOT!!

Made it to Railay Beach and first thing we all did was take a swim :) Then I videoed the view.

YES we walked a LOT anywhere we wanted to go. There are miles and miles of beaches/paths/stairs etc. This is the path we had to take to get onto a beach area that would eventually allow us to end up at the bat caves. Note the beauty of the rocks. You will ntocie in my commentary I start saying 'I do not like solo travel'. I did not. I wish my g'daughter and Igor could have stayed longer.

AND!! after walking for ages we came out on another part of Railay Beach. Later we walked to the end to get to the Bat Caves. Note [even though we were tourists as well] how many tourists there are. Everywhere you go in Thailand it is packed with tourists. Hard to believe anyone is broke really! Even on the beaches they have spiritual decorations sitting inside the caves etc.

First pic is a close up of a rock on one of the paths. All the rest are pics of me from the beach area, where I waited for Kirsten and Igor who went climbing up ropes and rocks into the bat cave.
