Good day all,
A warm welcome to my new readers and a heart felt hallo to all my regulars.
NEED: Two psychics to do small mini reads for 2 ½ hours on December 17th 2010. From 9.30pm to midnight. Pay is $80 per hour. South side location. Must be able to read quickly, and do roughly 10-minute reads. It’s a corporate event, so light nice reads at a fun, Xmasy event. I have done this for the past 2 years and it’s just that, fun. What a month! What a whirlwind of activity month. Boy oh boy I am able to breathe today. As I mentioned in last months Newsletter I had been accepted at The Fringe. As August started so did the reads.
My treadmill was delivered, as scheduled, to the very minute they said it would arrive. It took a little getting used to, as all new things do, but I love it now. Although this month it did not get much usage! Not complaining at all, but I am at the age where muscle drops very quickly if you do not work out every 2-3 days.
As The Fringe approached all was in order. I had the tent rented and scheduled for delivery, the signage made up for the outside, the pamphlets, business cards and information signs all done. On the 12th of August all was set up and the next 11 days was simple a BLAST. Over 90,000 people came down to view the artists, plays, and all that was offered. I spent wonderful days meeting tons of people, talking, viewing and having fun. Busy?? Lets just say both Janice, the lady I spoke of last month, and I, had little breathing time. She was fantastic. She sat there like a trooper, never let me down, always opened at noon and in return I never let her down, I always closed at midnight. It was perfect person to work with. Next year, we both hope to be there again, together, working along side each other. 
As soon as The Fringe was over I had to set up my Reiki class that had filled and overfilled! I accepted one extra student and the class was balanced. I had really truly had an awful time in the Spring Reiki class. Every so often, and I am sure all teachers will agree, you get a person who leaves a terrible taste in your mouth. This happened to me in the Spring class, and I wondered if I should have let go of teaching Reiki, as I had thought I might in the Personal Nine year. [2009] As my Personal Year One [2010]arrived I decided to keep that area. So in the Spring, when I had such an awful upsetting, verbal energy attack, from a student, I wondered if I should have kept to my original ‘shut it down’ plan in 2009. So with much hesitation I put on the Fall class. The reason? I received an e-mail asking if I would teach her. She said I came highly recommended. Why I said I would, when teaching one person is hard without group energy, I will never know! But as the Universe shows all who needs answers, the class filled and everyone was cool, loving, true healers and respectful. I took it to be a sign to continue with Reiki in the teaching area.
Once Reiki was over, the Raw Food bash was here. Only a handful came out, but the handful that did were energetic, fun and the house filled with lots of laughter. In fact the youngest of the group offered to mow my lawn and I gleefully accepted. With the insane fun filled month I had, the outside suffered. Or should I say was neglected. Thank you Danielle for your kindness. It has been decided that the last Sunday of every month will be a raw food bash here at my acreage. Unfortunately the Fall Raw Food classes coincide with that for September, so the next Raw Food Bash will be the last Sunday in October. More on that later, but you can be assured we will build this to a GREAT group. The intentions are to also have folks promote their businesses while here.
The market was slow, but no one lost money and most made a few hundred dollars. Normally we make in the thousand or so, but hey a few hundred is fine with me. On that note, I am so excited to add that with the fabulous year I am living in, there comes a time when you want to overhaul furniture.
Every year The Brick offers a bed with a free TV. This year, the offer was a plasma, 42” Samsung. How could I resist? I could not, it beckoned me and beckoned me till I succumbed and went to Mattress Mattress. There they greeted me with delight, I bought the Sealy KING, yes KING size plush mattress and then trundled down to the furniture store and picked up the dresser, 2 night stands, chest with mirror and a headboard and base. With great delight it is coming on Thursday and on Friday some guys are coming to install the TV on my wall. Funnily enough while I was there the couch I have envisioned was sitting on the floor waiting to be sold. That will wait though, as the wood stove will be next. It arrives in October. I now have discovered that it needs to be 4 feet away from windows. I now have to re-think its position for placement. One of my raw food buddies that was here yesterday, pointed out that a good place would be giving up a wall just inside my kitchen [as I have an open concept] and having some dry walling done to fit it there. I am really feeling she is correct. If anyone knows anyone who is GREAT at dry walling, and is reasonable in cost, could they please e-mail me with the number and name. I am 25 minutes from Sherwood Park. [East]
Ahhhh yes, I had been keeping this under wraps so that we could get GREAT seats. James Van Praagh is here on October 23d at the River Cree Casino. So far six of us are going together. We have Section A in the fourth row. Anyone who does not know who he is I suggest a google, or for knowledge sakes he is the producer of Ghost Whisper. He set the show up in parallel to his readings from the afterlife. I had tried many times to bring him here with no success. I have all his books and am VERY excited to see him. Perhaps he’ll bring in my Dad. Perhaps we will see some of you there too. Since it is at the casino we will all be going early and getting a little bit of gambling in. Me? I am a blackjack player. A damn tootin’ good one too [grin]
What else? September is starting out great according to my appointment book and I ask the Angels to let that continue. I still have some spots in the Raw Food Class. The Stocks and Options course for the September 18th is filled, and I put another one on for the 19th. That is 45% full right now. Please reserve early for both courses, if you are thinking of taking them. Prep work needs to be done before both, and I always appreciate having the time to do that.
May you all enjoy the Fall, although if I had my way it would be summer all year! I cannot always have everything my way, so due to this I enjoy what is put before me. As Fall enters into my life I will prepare my garden, dig up the veggies that grew, till the earth, put down the compost from the fruits and veggies and cover the ground until we need to grow again. I hope that Fall brings much joy, work, peace, contentment and any other emotion you wish to experience your way. Until October I wish you all positive thoughts, VcToria.

The Real Story Behind Eggs
Ever since half a billion eggs were recalled because of a salmonella outbreak, people have been talking about food safety regulations. Animal welfare issues have been mentioned, but they need to be considered more seriously. The following are some facts to help you tell the hens' side of the story:
There's cruelty in every carton of eggs:
Ninety-nine percent of hens used by the egg industry are confined to filthy, crowded battery cages. In June, the owner of one of the egg farms involved in the recall—and of the company that supplies chickens and chicken feed to both farms implicated in the outbreak—pleaded guilty to cruelty to animals and paid more than $130,000 in fines and restitution following an undercover investigation by Mercy for Animals.
Salmonella spreads like wildfire on factory farms:
Under squalid factory farm conditions, it's easy for salmonella bacteria—which live in the intestines and feces of animals—to spread from bird to bird and from birds to people. Vegan foods don't naturally harbor salmonella bacteria.
Avoiding eggs is the best way to prevent salmonella poisoning and reduce animal suffering:
A salmonella vaccine that has been used successfully in Britain is available, but American regulators don't believe there's enough evidence to show that vaccinating hens will prevent people from getting sick. It's obvious that our food safety regulations are not all they're cracked up to be and that the safest and kindest way to prevent salmonella poisoning is to stop eating eggs altogether. PETA is urging Iowa schools to stop serving eggs to children in order to help protect them from food poisoning. You can opt for egg replacer, scrambled tofu, and other tasty vegan foods.

Kale Guacamole
3 leaves of kale
2 small avocados
3 dates [take out the pits]
2 strips of kelp [soaked for 10 minutes]
2 Tablespoons of lemon juice
Pinch of sea salt
2 cloves of garlic
1 small tomato [diced]
½ cup of parsley, finely chopped
Place kale, dates, kelp, garlic, lemon juice and sea salt into the food processor. Mix till creamy. Stir in tomato and parsley. Serve on crackers.

My granddaughter M was born March 21, 2008. Her mother C was born October 4 1986 and her father A was born July 2 1987. They both share custody of the child week for week. The mother is in to heavy drugs, drinks alot and spend most of her time partying. The question is do you see my son being able to gain full custody of his daughter. Will he get the evidence he needs to gain full custody.

All I can say as I do the Numerology is WOW, what a massive karmic group here you have. The granddaughter is an LP7. The Mother is an LP 11 and the son is an LP 7 but breaking from a 16. I know that the numbers will not mean much to you, but to me they speak volumes.
The mother and daughter are hugely connected, as are your son and mother.[C] The g/daughter is no doubt a g/daughter that both of them have brought into previous lives. Having said this, when drugs and alcohol are involved, then the complete map of life that is devised from the numerology, falls apart. Nothing can compete with drugs and alcohol and addictions of any kind, as they change the energy and outcome of a perfect life.
Because of this I will not advise any more on the charts, I will simply look at my cards and see what they say in reference to your question
CARDS SAY: The discussion underway is very motivated by money. This talk will be taking place most likely as you read my Newsletter this month, and continuing through the month. Is this lawyer’s fees or money that she will be asking for? It could be both. There are a lot of unanswered questions here, and I see your son getting tired of them as the time goes by. I feel that work will be an issue in this decision. By this I mean someone is pointing out the work aspect of your son. Is he not working? I really see this being an issue in the custody base.
However, there is not a quick fix to the problem here. It is long and drawn out, and seems to take more time than you think it will. In the long run I believe these two adults will become friends and work this out for the child. As for full custody I do not see it in the cards up to the time frame of next Spring. [2011]
ASTROLOGY
Dear AU Readers,
For me, it is hard to believe that summer is winding down and we are moving toward the Fall Equinox. For some, it has been a long, hot summer with some challenging alignments and eclipses; hopefully we have had some opportunities to grow and will be able to reap some of the harvests from what we've sown. September should feel more settled overall as we have a chance to integrate events and to put them into proper perspective. Mercury will station direct on September 12, after which we will move forward more smoothly. And, Pluto will station direct on September 14. We'll begin to see more clearly how we can integrate the changes in our lives in ways that are ultimately better.
The month begins quietly. On September 3, the Sun and Mercury come together in Virgo to emphasize analytical thinking, improvement of skills, and service. For many, this is back-to-school time when organization and skill development are on the front burner. Sign up for classes or learn a new skill. Think about health routines; do you need to revise your diet? your exercise patterns? your stress management? This is the perfect time to give attention to those areas. If you have some extra time on your hands, volunteer and use your skills to help others. Write down ideas that come to you now, so you can act on them during the New Moon coming up shortly. On September 4, Venus will trine Neptune. This may open hearts to want to give to others, but it also infuses us with love and the ideal of romance. If you want a romantic encounter with your lover, this is the date!
On September 8, Venus enters Scorpio to intensify the needs of the heart and to bring a desire for in-depth connections with others. Love is felt deeply. Relationships could see more jealousy and possessiveness arise. Deepen connections through genuine communication and sharing. On September 14, Mars also enters Scorpio. At that time, these same themes will become more prominent. Venus and Mars together in Scorpio will no doubt heighten passion and sexual expression.
Also on September 8, there is a New Moon at 15 Virgo. This will be a fantastic time to implement in earnest, the ideas you wrote about on September 3 about self-improvement and service. This New Moon also will be a time to release an attachment to perfectionism or too much criticism of self and others - if you're inclined that way! Jupiter backtracks into Pisces to cool off on September 9 after dabbling its toes into Arian fires. September 12 brings a Mercury direct station. Once Mercury is once again direct, we won't feel as though we're treading water so much. The pace of communications and business should be picking up speed now.
Pluto stations direct on September 14. Because Plutonian vibrations will be very strong on this day, watch for extremism in attitudes and behavior. Avoid manipulation and demand genuineness in interactions with others. Mars enters Scorpio on this day as well.
On September 18, Jupiter and Uranus come together in conjunction in Pisces. Inspirations and innovative ideas are available for those who are open to intuition. Let imagination take off for your chosen creative art. Some surprises may be in store. Pisces energy encourages us to practice forgiveness and compassion when needed. On September 21, the Sun will oppose this conjunction. That may be the time when others do challenge us to remember those qualities.
Autumn officially arrives on September 22 when the Sun moves into Libra. The Fall Equinox represents a time when day and night are equal, or in balance. Likewise, Libra energy encourages us to find balance in our lives. Most often, that comes in the form of learning how to relax and to develop a sense of inner peace in the wake of life's stressors. Give time to those things that help you find greater inner peace, whether it be yoga, music, working with the arts, meditation, etc. You'll get a chance to put your strategies to work on September 25 when the Sun squares Pluto. Be aware on this day of power struggles, manipulative behavior, or underhanded tactics. And, stay out of dark alleys. :)
The Sun makes its annual conjunction to Saturn on September. Saturn helps us with disciplining ourselves to accomplish our work. This is not a day to feel down or overburdened. You'll feel better when you enjoy your accomplishments.
September's Full Moon occurs on September 23 at 0 Aries. The Sun in Libra wants us to engage relationships in which there is harmony and cooperation. When the Moon in Aries opposes it, Aries energy says, "Hey, I need to be my own person, too!" So, this Full Moon will speak to finding the common ground that supports individual needs and
expression within the context of relationships. Libra can get caught up in being too much of a people pleaser, while Aries can get caught up in too much self-absorption. In a broad sense, Me vs.Other is the theme. Venus and Mars in Scorpio can help with the ability to look deeply inward in understanding yourself and others better.
